Philips 727A
The Philips 727A is a rather modern looking a.c mains radio, which was made in 1937. It has long, medium & short wave bands, and has the following valves:-
FC4, VP4B, TDD4, PEN4DD, 1821.
It has separate chassis that bolt together, and has some fiendish and awkward to access drive cords for both pointer and tuning gang.
This radio was probably the prototype for the later model 170A of 1946, and is un restored.
