The Alba 461 is an impressive upright a.c mains valve radio. It was made in 1945, and has long, medium & short wave band reception.
The valves used in this receiver are:-
ECH35, EF39, EBC33, EL33, AZ31.
The wax paper capacitors were replaced with modern equivalents. The resistors faired much better with less replacements required.
The cloth over the loudspeaker had been replaced, previously ripped.
